The following are the terms and conditions of KDL Group (UK) Limited T/A Marsland Chassis, we recommend you read and understand the terms prior to submitting an order with us. When you submit an order you are entering into a contract with KDL Group (UK) Limited therefore binding you to the terms below.

Payment

We accept all major credit and debit cards, BACS & CHAPS payments. All purchases are processed in a strictly confidential format, through either Paypal, Natwest Tyl or our business bank account. KDL Group (UK) Limited does not have access to any of your card details from online transactions, this information is taken through the Paypal or Natwest Tyl card processing. Over the telephone or in person payments can be made however no payment details are kept or held by KDL Group (UK) Limited. All prices quoted are subject to VAT (UK) unless otherwise stated. KDL Group (UK) Limited reserves the right to amend incorrectly quoted prices; we are under no obligation to sell products if the price is in-correct or an item has been superseded and is therefore subject to a price increase. KDL Group (UK) Limited reserves the right to refuse payment details if we believe they are being used fraudulently.

Personalised products

Personalised products such as chassis / VIN numbers require a copy of the vehicle V5 document and a copy of identification such as passport or driving license prior to manufacturing. Personalised items are subject to an increased availability time. Payment must be made in full prior to any personalisation. VIN stamped items should not be resold as an individual item and used in the entirety for the corresponding vehicle they were purchased for.

Delivery

Our priority is to dispatch items at the earliest opportunity; we aim to contact you regarding dispatch on all stock orders within 48 hours of receiving full receipt of funds for the goods. Marsland Chassis lead time varies this will be advised to you during the order process by contacting us or upon receipt of order, due to availability this may incur a longer availability time. We aim to keep chassis delivery times to 2 week maximum where possible. Sometimes due to the nature of our business we may be unable to dispatch within the time frame give, we will advise you, the purchaser if for any reason your item cannot be shipped for this reason. Occasionally shipping prices quoted and charged at the checkout may incur additional costs, if this is the case we will contact you to advise of the additional charge or offer a full immediate refund. If the delivery address incurs a remote surcharge the customer may incur an additional cost. Free delivery is only available to UK Mainland. The company will do our utmost to keep within the advised delivery dates however these are estimates only. We will inform you if an item is out of stock. Scottish Highlands/Europe/Rest of the World customers please contact us in advance for a carriage quotes for faster shipping times. KDL Group (UK) Limited takes no responsibility for parcels left at the purchasers’ request “in a safe place” these are exempt from insurance cover. Shipping delays due to circumstances outside the control of the KDL Group (UK) Limited shall not entitle the purchaser to cancel an order or to refuse to accept delivery. The Company accepts no responsibility for loss or damage resulting from delay in delivery of goods. KDL Group (UK) Limited is not responsible for any customs charges or import duties incurred, these are the customer’s responsibility. We will agree a delivery date with you prior to delivery and discuss unloading, On the day of delivery our drivers will stay in contact to advise of an accurate ETA.

Galvanising – J.E Marsland Limited

Galvanising is only a sacrificial coating, road salt, farm manure and chemicals (including those spilt on the road) attacks galvanising more aggressively than it attacks paint. Galvanisers, J.E Marsland Limited and KDL Group (UK) Limited do not offer any guarantee for galvanising, we advise that you paint or waxoyl the chassis and also wash the chassis off frequently. All galvanising undertaken is to BS EN ISO 1461 standards.

Certificate of Authenticity

A certificate of authenticity is supplied with each Marsland Defender Chassis from the manufacturer Autostructures UK Limited (formally GKN Autostructures Limited). A record of each individual chassis batch number and copy of the certificate are retained by KDL Group (UK) Limited.

Damaged Goods

Good’s damaged in transit must be recorded in writing upon receipt of the goods. We cannot accept any responsibility for damaged goods if the carrier’s proof of delivery has a signature for being received in good condition. We advise you check carefully.

Cancellations & Returns

Orders can be cancelled up to the time of dispatch from us (providing the item has not been personalised, personalised items are non refundable), if an order has already been dispatched the purchaser must return the goods once received ensuring they are packaged to avoid damage. Personalised orders (including chassis numbers) are non-refundable. Any refunds due will be processed within 7 days of receipt of the returned goods to KDL Group (UK) Limited providing all goods are received back in the same condition they were dispatched in. If you require a different item than the one originally purchased an exchange may be processed and the cost difference and any additional carriage paid by the purchaser. Please contact us to discuss this further. Goods must be returned to us at your cost. Postage will not be refunded in the event of cancellation or exchange of goods.

Website

KDL Group (UK) Limited reserves the right to remove any material submitted by you to public areas without notice. All images used on the website are owned by and for the sole use KDL Group (UK) Limited; any unauthorised use of images will result legal action.

Force Majeure

Events outside KDL Group (UK) Limited control, which is not reasonably foreseeable, will be considered force majeure, meaning that KDL Group (UK) Limited is released from KDL Group (UK) Limited obligations to fulfil contractual agreements. Example of such events are government action or omission, new or amended legislation, conflict, embargo, fire or flood, sabotage, accident, war, natural disasters, strikes or lack of delivery from suppliers. The force majeure also includes government decisions that affect the market negatively and products, for example, restrictions, warnings, ban, etc.

Complaints

Customer service and full satisfaction is of high importance to us, if you feel you have not received the highest customer service possible we would like to hear about it so we can make every effort to rectify the problem and prevent it from happening again.
